English UK is the national association of accredited English language centres.

Formed in 2004 from two previous associations (ARELS and BASELT), we have 340 member centres in private schools, educational trusts and charities, further education colleges and universities.

All our members are accredited by the British Council under the English in Britain Accreditation Scheme, which we run in partnership with the British Council.

We also have candidate centres who are working towards accreditation. We provide them with consultancy to guide them through the process and to ensure that they are reaching the standards required for accreditation.

Our key roles are to promote quality and to represent our members´ interests.

For students, enrolling at an English UK centre is the best way to ensure that you have a good experience in the UK and get the most you can out of your English language course.
