What you should think about before taking a Work Experience Placement in the UK

There are plenty of options to choose from; ranging from careers in Hospitality and Tourism, Teaching, marketing, HR, PR, fashion and lots more.

Most centers will offer both paid and unpaid placements. Paid placements are usually in hospitality and tourism where other fields are usually unpaid internships.

Before choosing, ask yourself a few questions:

  • Where do I want to undertake the study part of my work experience?
  • Do I want a paid or unpaid placement?
  • Do I have experience in this field?
  • How long do I want to study for?
  • What am I looking to achieve with the work experience?
  • Which qualification do I want at the end of the program?

Check out the info on our registered members and contact them individually for more information on studying and working in the UK.
